Summer is the perfect time to get to know your surroundings. We are organizing the Turku Neighborhood Weeks campaign in summer 2020 to introduce unique neighborhoods located in the City of Turku for your inspiration. This week we'll get to know Hirvensalo-Kakskerta area located by the sea.
The City of Turku is divided in 9 wards. In May 2020, people had a chance to vote for their favorite. Hirvensalo-Kakskerta achieved the 3rd place with 14 % of the votes. The City Center won the voting with 24 % of the votes and Skanssi-Uittamo became the second with 15 % of the votes.
We collected people's thoughts about Hirvensalo-Kakskerta and collected a video. Unfortunately the subtitles are only in Finnish, but we'll hope you enjoy the scenary. :)
