The neighborhoods of Turku in November - Look and tremble!

November. This amorphous intermediate state, when the colors of the fall are but a memory and the joyful spirit of Christmas is yet just a promise of hope far in the horizon. Pohjola combines both historical and urban living in Turku

During the end of my studies I had to move away from the Eastern Center of Turku and ended up to Pohjola. Before moving to Pohjola, my life was focused on the southern part of Turku and the bridge connecting Pohjola and the city center up North almost felt like Point of No Return. After a short while, I recognized and was delighted that there is life in the northern part as well.

Suburban landscape anew

Photography is a wonderful hobby, but it conceals a certain danger. That is you might get hooked on it. The charm of Portsa's old houses and courtyards never wear out

Port Arthur is a good place to live for a lover of old items and houses like myself. This is a perfect place to long after decades before you were even born. The streets, the houses and the bricks and mortar (a rarity you can find here) make your imagination fly somewhere around the mid 20th century.
