We thank all the photographers for participating in the Rakas Turku (Beloved Turku) competition in 2019! We have now selected the finalists among all the +400 outstanding photos for three categories: (1) natural environment, (2) built environment and (3) life in the hoods. Be amazed with the photos and vote for your favorite in the comment section of this blog post to win the prize.
Our photo competition is organized by Know Your Hoods and a local newspaper Turkulainen. The competition has run weekly during the autumn 2019.
Instructions for voting:
- Voting: Comment with a number of your favorite photo and a short reasoning for the choice in the comment section of this blog post. Scroll down below all comments.
- Voting in other categories: There are also categories for nature and built environment and you can vote in these categories, too (altogether 3 votes).
- When? Voting is open 1.1.-12.1.2020
- Defining the winner: Three category winners are defined by the amount of votes. Our jury will decide the winner among these three photos.
- Winner goes public: Wed 15.1.2020
- Prize for the winner: A gift card for the lovely Naantali Spa (value 200 euros). The second and third are rewarded with 2 movie tickets.
- Prize for voting: We will randomly draw 3 of the voters who also receive 2 movie tickets to Kino Diana.
- Additionally: Share the post and encourage your friends to cast a vote. :)
