The neighborhoods of Turku in November - Look and tremble!

Susanna | 22.11.2019

November. This amorphous intermediate state, when the colors of the fall are but a memory and the joyful spirit of Christmas is yet just a promise of hope far in the horizon. The month of too many shades of grey. We compare pictures of Turku neighborhoods taken in November to the summer pictures, see, if you can spot the difference. Does the weather really make everything dull and miserable?

The majority of photographs used in Know Your Hoods are taken during the good weather. Yet, several of our users have noted, that you can get a truthful image of the neighborhood only by seeing it at its worst. Especially, if you are still unfamiliar with the interchanging Finnish weather. We gladly accepted the feedback and ventured off in the November greyness to take some pictures. And so you are able to compare, the pictures are taken from the exact spots as last summer.

Is there anything pretty in November?

Please change the language settings into Finnish to see the whole article, and of course, the lovely November pictures.

Marraskuiset kuvat oli kuvattu pilvisenä päivänä, Kesäkuiset aurinkoisena. Aurinkoisena päivänä kuvatut Marraskuussa olisivat olleet ihan erilaiset🤔
