Eura

Honkilahti has active village communities in the vicinity of Koskeljärvi and Pyhäjärvi lakes. A lively village school, a wide range of sports activities, increasing remote work opportunities and the nature surrounding the residential areas attract new residents to the area.

There are also two day cares for small children. The nearest church is in Honkilahti church village (kirkonkylä), being true to its name. This church is also an interesting destination for tourists.

Services, local food, tourism, and sports for everyone

The villages of Honkilahti have a long agricultural history, old buildings and a good spirit. Honkilahti is proudly old-fashioned, for example, in the way that everyone is greeted on the street, but new winds have also brought optical fibre networks to the area.

Many people are able to work remotely and, through online shopping, mail is delivered to your door, even from abroad. Thanks to uncongested roads, both public and commercial services are within easy reach, both from the centre of Eura and from neighbouring towns.
