Lemu

Masku

Lemu is a rural pearl located in western Masku. The area has a varied landscape of fields and forests, idyllic villages and sea bays in its southern part. Residents value Lemu's combination of community and personal peace, as well as its good location for services.

The unique Lemu combines community spirit and own peace

Lemu, Askainen and Masku formed the municipality of Masku in 2009. Lemu is located along great connections, and you can drive to both the center of Masku and Raisio in about a quarter of an hour. Naantali can be reached by car in less than 20 minutes and Turku in less than half an hour.

Lemu's uniqueness is enhanced by the coastal waters of its southern part. Nature lovers in particular will be delighted by the versatile and highly regarded bird water Oukkulanlahti, whose reed beds, extensive coastal meadows and woodlands attract a wide range of different species to the area. Renovated long trees and a bird tower make camping pleasant. The Kolkanpolku hiking route and nature trails also provide incomparable outdoor and camping opportunities for residents and visitors.

The history of Lemu is also interesting, which is conveyed, for example, by the medieval church of Lemu. In addition, the numerous small villages located in the area are well preserved.

Simple amenity from village schooling and local hobbies

There are a few basic services in Lemu, such as a grocery store, a gym, a library and a daycare center. The school in Lemu offers education for primary school children, and middle school pupils are taken to school in the center of Masku by school bus.

Especially those who enjoy exercise and nature rejoice in this area. The renewed Kuurnanpää beach is delightful on a hot summer day. In addition, Lemu's sports and tennis court, frisbee golf course and ski slope make sports easily accessible.

There are also associations in the area that take care of activities and community spirit. In particular, the local community association Lemun Kempit ry does valuable work in the region.

Plots of Kallela

In Lemu, plots offered by both the municipality and private individuals are currently for sale, especially in the Kallela area. The plots are medium-sized and affordable to realize your dream home.
