About Hoods

The map tiles for the service are from Open Street Map and some of the used data has been calculated by using Open Street Maps data.

Statistics Finland's postal code based open material PAAVO contains versatile statistics categorized based on postal codes. Information and demographics and real estate have for example been utilized.

Regional Council of Southwest Finland's address data set collected in 2012 and partly in 2013, and the material reviewed by municipalities of Southwest Finland in 2014 on select services in the region. 18.5.2016 corrections have been made to Turku city service locations, new ones have been added and old ones have been removed, and corrections have been made to identified errors in the areas of other municipalities. Service points added to Know Your Hoods have been reviewed and updated in 7/2019. These updates are only visible in Know Your Hoods, not in the original data set. The data set is available in Lounaistieto data portal.
