The scent of the forest, greenery, big yards, big houses and big dogs – here is my first, very illustrative impression of Jäkärlä. This is also how Mia Lehtonen, who currently lives in Jäkärlä, described her neighborhood. Yet, after Mia told me further about it, I noticed that Jäkärlä is much more than that. I have seen only a small bit of this green, affordable and unique neighborhood.
