Littoinen is conveniently located at the junction of three cities: Turku, Kaarina, and Lieto. The Littoinen residential area is divided in two: its western part is located in Kaarina, and the eastern part is in Lieto. One of the region's most important business areas, Avanti, is located in the northern part of the region.

Littoinen has fast connections to every direction; You can reach the centers of Lieto and Kaarina in 10 minutes and Turku in 15 minutes. Residents can also hop on board the Turku region's public transport ‘Föli’.

Littoinen lies next to Littoistenjärvi lake. Within its surroundings is an atmospheric mill that operated in the 18th century. Littoinen is a nationally significant cultural environment and a popular residential area. The building stock consists of detached and terraced houses built in different decades.

The many local village associations, such as Littoinen Omakotiyhdistys ry, Verkatapahtumat, and Suopohja kyläyhdistys ry make sure that the area stays vibrant and full of life. Littoinen has good essential services, including Littoinen's elementary school and daycare centers. The nearest middle and high schools can be found 10 minutes away in the center of Lieto (see locations on the map).
