Serene everyday life under the famous pine trees 

The Preitilä area is internationally known for the Paimio Sanatorium designed by Alvar Aalto. It is also possible to settle here and enjoy everyday life under the cover of handsome pine trees. Preitilä's residential areas are also a garden hobbyist's dream.

For those who dream of building, there are vacant plots in the leafy Hanhijoki residential area, which is conveniently located close to the center’s services. Children living in Preitilä can start their school journey at Hanhijoki’s own primary school and continue to the junior high school and high school, which are also located in the center.

Vista's services are also only a 15-minute bike or bus ride away. As Paimio is located on the motorway, it takes about half an hour to get to Turku. If necessary, you can also take a TLO or Föli bus!

Time to enjoy the nature around you

In Preitilä you can enjoy your free time doing sports and enjoying the surrounding nature. Near the sanatorium you will find, for example, the Paimio Sanatorium’s cultural and nature trail. Walk around and stop for lunch at the sanatorium’s restaurant Toivo!

Alternatively, you can continue from the Paimio Sanatorium trail to the Preitilä trail and on to the Paimio nature trail, which adds up to a total of 11 kilometers of hiking. In addition to the nature trails, Preitilä has a ski jumping hill in Varasvuori and a Paimio frisbee golf course with varied terrain. The River Park and the Sports Park are also a short distance away.
