Ihala

Located in the southeastern part of Raisio, Ihala is an easily accessible living area just a few kilometers away from Raisio's city center. A bit over six kilometers to the center of Turku, the trip is an effortless one on the main roads and also convenient without your own vehicle as Turku region's public transportation Föli offers an alternative to driving.

Ihala is a reputable residential area, and not only because of its great transport connections, but also due to its closeness to nature, and the peaceful atmosphere you can feel everywhere you go. Behind the corner, you can find lovely old wooden houses, but if you take a few steps further, you encounter impressive grand houses in the more recently built part of the neighborhood.

Ihala is a pleasant district for families with children as one of the Raisio's largest primary schools, Ihala School, is located here. The school offers classes in English, and a separate unit of the school, the Konsa School, provides teaching for the first two grades. There are many opportunities for hobbies; for instance, you can see many football teams scoring at Ihala's well-kept sports field. And the neighborhood's own convenience store caters to your everyday needs, while Mylly, the largest shopping center in Southwest Finland, serves you in less than five kilometers away.
