Inkoinen

Inkoinen belongs to the southern part of Raisio and it shares a border with the provincial center Turku. It is located between two main roads, Nesteentie and Naantalintie highways, providing an efficient transport network to various directions. The center of Raisio is near you, as it is only a few kilometers from Inkoinen. The center of Turku can be reached in 20 minutes and one of the major employers of the area, the Meyer Shipyard, is only within 5-minute drive away. The residents can move around by using the Turku region's Föli buses.

The most common housing type in the area is a detached or a semi-detached house, while there are also apartment buildings in Metsäaro. At the heart of Inkoinen, there is a Krookila village with an atmospheric community center that families are happy to rent for parties or smaller gatherings. The Krookila's community center also serves as a stage for the entertaining performances of the local summer theater.

When it comes to schooling, the Krookila school in Inkoinen offers primary education for the first two years. Kindergarten next to Metsäaro apartment buildings also makes life noticeably easier for families with children. All the local services that one might need, such as grocery stores, small shops and restaurants to dine in, can be found in the nearby center of Raisio.

The residents are surrounded by lush forests and diverse outdoor paths. The nature trail Uikkupolku brings outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy the unique seaside flora and fauna and discover hundreds of bird species inhabiting the nearby Raisio Bay. In addition, Raisio Marina is located in the opposite side of the bay, welcoming those with a flair for boating.
