Nummenniitty

Nummenniitty is located north of the Kaarina city center, nestled between Uudenmaantie and Helsinki highway. The residential area is within walking distance to the services offered in Kaarina city center and less than 15 minutes drive to Turku Market Square. The neighborhood also has good public transport connections and with the help of Föli bus lines one can freely move around Kaarina and travel to Turku.

Nummenniity's residential area consists of large detached and row houses with high prices per square meter and varied architecture. Ylikylä and Vättilä are two of the oldest neighborhoods of Kaarina. The low-rise residential area Sorto in the west, and Krossi business area with its shops and employment opportunities in the northeast, can be found in Nummenniitty as well. In addition to Kaarina’s services, Turku’s large service and shopping center Skanssi is only 4 kilometers northwest from Nummenniitty.

Nummenniity has its own kindergarden and schools, and other essential public services are only a short distance away in the Kaarina city center. The area has excellent recreational facilities, including the Central Sports Park, Kaarina Ice Arena and the Aktia Arena , which offers a variety of sports, including tennis and badminton. In the Central Sports Park there are plenty of soccer fields, a sports stadium, a basketball field, track for frisbee golf and a running track. In the wintertime one can play ice hockey, ice skate and go cross country skiing.
