Yliskulma is only a 10-minute drive from the center of Lieto, yet it still has a wonderful village-like atmosphere. Yliskulma has a lively village school and an active local association, which organizes versatile hobbies and activities for residents.

Authentic village atmosphere with good transport connections

In Yliskulma, you can live surrounded by nature in peace and quiet, but at the same time along convenient transport routes. The services in the center of Lieto can be reached by car in 10 minutes, and Turku is less than half an hour away. If you wish, you can also bike along the bike path to the center of Lieto.

Although Lieto is part of the Turku region's public transport, Föli buses do not run all the way to Yliskulma. Matkahuolto's buses, on the other hand, would get you to Yliskulma. However, a car is still the most convenient way to get around, as the area is fragmented into several small villages.

Yliskulma village school is a source of joy for the locals

The pride of Yliskulma is a lively village school where the surrounding nature is part of daily school life. You can find the nearest junior high schools in Tarvasjoki and the center of Lieto, where the municipality also has its high school (see the locations on the map).

Near the village school in the Katava area, you can build a home on a spacious plot with direct access to a forest from your backyard. Katava's plots are right next to Yliskulma's services and Highway 10, which make everyday life in the area effortless and the community spirit lively!  

For a small village, Yliskulma has a lot of pastime opportunities  

Yliskulma has an exceptionally diverse range of hobby activities, from studying music to sports. The local village associations organize many pastime activities for residents, like the soccer lessons held by Liedon pallo. Yliskulma also has a 20-hole frisbee golf course, challenging even the most experienced golfers with its varied terrain!
