Kuloinen

Kuloinen is a noticeably green neighborhood in the southeastern part of Raisio, right on the border of Turku. The transport connections work well, as the area is snugly nestled between Raisiontie and the Turku ring road. Getting around is easy by car, bicycle, or public transport. It is just a few kilometers away from the center of Raisio, and not much more from Turku, where Föli's buses get you in a quarter of an hour.

The detached houses in the residential area vary in style, and you can find everything from small wooden homes to modern houses with each boasting their uniquely individual design. The dense forests of Mälikkälä-Kuninkoja start on the west side of Kuloinen, so for nature lovers there is plenty to explore, and to explore some more. For those leading an active lifestyle, the area offers many jogging trails, an indoor swimming pool and the Hauninen frisbee golf course.

There is no shortage of services either, as the largest shopping center in Southwest Finland Mylly is located right here. Mylly has several household names such as Prisma, but it is also a home for hundreds of specialty shops. If there happens to be something you can’t find from there, such as Ikea, Gigantti or Biltema, make a trip to those and other large department stores in Kuninkoja.

Kuloinen is a perfect spot for families with children, as the Kuloinen primary school is located right next to the Mylly shopping center. Also, the neighborhood has a daycare center that operates in a group of idyllic wooden houses painted in a traditional red. Those houses perfectly sum up the picturesque scenery you will find here.
