Immersed in nature, Ilpoinen and Peltola neighborhoods are located about five kilometers from the center of Turku, accessible with good public transport connections. The forest area in Ilpoinen is wide, and its tracks are in active use. The nature reserve of Katariinanlaakso is also right next to Ilpoinen. If that isn't enough, Peltola and Ilpoinen are also next to the popular outdoor recreation area, Luolavuori.

Most of Peltola is covered by a beautiful residential area, but it also has a high-rise neighborhood Petrelius consisting of apartment buildings.
