The green and beautiful neighborhood of Korppolaismäki is a hilly area by the sea. It feels like a small town, yet is located relatively close to the city center of Turku.

The Korppolaismäki area is located on the shore of Pitkäsalmi, in the immediate proximity of the sea. The Port of Turku is on the opposite side of the river Aura. The area is about 3 km from the Turku center, making it accessible by walking or biking along the river bank. In addition, public transport connections are excellent. It is a hilly neighborhood, as Korppolaismäki is one of the highest hills around the center of Turku, providing great views for its residents.

There are mostly wooden houses in the Korppolaismäki. Living costs in this area are high, but in exchange, you get to live in a peaceful place by the sea and close to the city center. The majority of the public services, such as schools, are in neighboring areas and in the city center. There will be a new restaurant soon in the seaside of Korppolaismäki. Various outdoor activities and recreational opportunities are within a few kilometers on the Hirvensalo island, which is connected by a bridge from Majakkaranta.

There is an influential and active neighborhood association, Martinrantaseura, operating in Korppolaismäki. Martinrantaseura has published various magazines, which provide information about the history of the area and the coming social activities.
