Living in a wooden house in Nummi, you can feel the echoes of history every day. The area has the necessary services and being close to the center and universities ensures a smooth day-to-day life.

Nummi (or Nummenmäki, Nummenpakka, Pakka and Nopola) is located a few kilometers east of the center of Turku. The typical settlement in the neighborhood is comprised of wooden houses, among which you can find real jewels for surprisingly affordable prices considering their good location. The area has good public transport. The area of Nummi is divided by Hämeentie, by which you will find a small concentration of services. Overall, Nummi has multiple public and private sector services close by.

On the eastern side of Hämeenkatu, Nummi consists mostly of wooden houses with few apartment buildings as well as the Student Village. On the western side, there is a hill called Kuuvuori (Moon Mountain) which consists of idyllic wooden houses. From Kuuvuori, one can experience stunning views over Turku and its stairs are a popular spot for sports activities.

Next to Helsinki highway is a block of new apartment buildings. In addition, Caribia Spa is located in close proximity of the new buildings next to a peculiar attraction called Posankka - a statue of a mixed marzipan pig and a rubber duck. Posankka is actually an official city animal of Turku.

Nummi has an active residents’ association Nummenpakanseura that works to promote youth activities and neighborhood culture in particular.
