Voivala - Raadelma

Voivala and Raadelma are officially their own neighborhoods, but together they form a distinctive living environment on a coastline. The area is located east of the center of Kaarina, opposite the beautiful island of Kuusisto. It is a bit over 2 km from Voivala to Kaarina city center and less than 5 km from Raadelma. Public transport runs regularly along the northern edge of the area by Uudenmaantie.

There are three areas separated by fields in the Voivala-Raadelma neighborhood: the low-rise park-like Rauhalinna area near the center of Kaarina, the Raadelma detached house area closer to the center of Piikkiö, and the Tuorla area between them. In Tuorla you can find the Tuorla inn, restaurants, a college offering land-based studies, and the Väisälä Space Park, which has a popular observatory. In addition to the Tuorla Observatory, Kaarina also has other special expertise in space, and their products end up in major international projects.

There are many new properties in Voivala and Raadelma, among which you can find yourself a modern home near the sea. Most of the services are located in the bordering neighborhoods, especially in the Kaarina city center. The neighborhood has excellent outdoor activities with beaches and nature trails. In addition, there is a rowing and canoeing center in Voivala, and there is also a possibility to get a private berth for your boat.

There is also an old mansion, Rauhalinnan kartano, which belonged to the Armfelt family for a century. They still tell a story that the last member that lived in the mansion, Auda Armfelt, still returns to her lands to enjoy the beauty. These days the mansion is private land and is not open for public.
